Made of steel and aluminum, the NX derailleur is heavier than its GX brethren, but that’s a trade-off most riders who are on a tighter budget are willing to take.The 14-tooth lower pulley can be used with a 10-50 or 11-50 cassette, so you can mix and match this derailleur with any cassette in the Eagle clan. That lower pulley is crafted with X-Sync technology, an aggressive tooth profile that helps keeps your chain on track.

In addition to the X-Sync lower pulley, the NX derailleur is loaded with synergistic shifting solutions. The X-Horizon design limits all movement to the horizontal axis, lessens shift force, and maintains a constant chain gap no matter what gear youre in.
