6061-T6 aluminum axle with hard anodized finish.

Use the Boost Shimano version for:

• DV9
• MOJO 3 – 4
• MOJO HD 3 – 5
• RIPLEY 2 LS
• RIPLEY 3 – 4
• RIPLEY AF
• RIPMO 1 – 2
• RIPMO AF

Use the standard Shimano version for the following 12x142mm models:

• Ripley 2 / LS
• HKMX

Use the SRAM version for the following 12 x 142mm models:

• Mojo SL / SLR
• Mojo HD / HDR
• Mojo HD3 (142mm spacing)
• Ripley 1
• T29

NOTE: There is not a numerical torque figure for the Hexle. We recommend tightening the 5mm with your multi tool that you carry with you. This way youll be able to remove it in case of a flat out on a ride.

ANOTHER NOTE: If you are looking to retrofit your non-Ibis bike with one of our Hexle’s, you’ll need to know the standard or thread pitch. For some reason, our industry has decided we need three different thread pitches for through axles:

Syntace, Specialized and DT use 12×1.0
Shimano is 12×1.5
Rock shox maxle is 12×1.75
Your bike manufacturer should be able to tell you which of these you need.

For reference here are the shaft lengths of the various options:

SRAM 142: 175mm
SRAM 148 Boost: 174mm
Shimano 142: 165mm
Shimano 148 Boost: 171mm
